Below are some frequently asked questions that may answer questions you have in regard to accomplishing specific tasks while on the ASCRS website. If there is something that you feel should be on here, please let us know.
- Q: How can I find my membership expiration date?
A: After you login from the "Member Area" login box on the left side of the homepage, you will see your name, membership expiration date, and a link to access your account that will appear in place of the login box.
- Q: What is my login and password to access the password protected areas of the website?
A: If you don't remember your password, click on the "Reset Password" link that is in the login box on the left side of the homepage. You will be required to enter your email address that is on file with ASCRS. You login and password will then be reset to it's default values and that information will be emailed to you.
User name: Either your ASCRS member number or a user name you specified.
Password: The first letter of your first name, and up to seven letters of your last name (Maximum of 8 characters all in lowercase), or a custom password that you specified.
- Q: How do I order ASCRS/ASOA publications?
A: You can order publications from the ASOA online book store. If you are a member of ASCRS or ASOA, you will receive these publications at a discount. If you are not a member you may still purchase publications but at full price. You can place your order at: http://shop.asoa.org
- Q: How can I attain my CME credits for past meetings?
A: You can attain CME credits for past meetings by logging into the site, and then clicking on the "Access My Account" link that will appear on the top the left side of the homepage after you successfully login. Once you reach this page, click on the left menu link labeled "Continuing Education."
- Q: How can I access the articles from the latest issue of The Journal of Cataract and Refractive Surgery?
A: First login to the ASCRS website. The login box appears on every page on the top left side. After you login, click on the JCRS cover image under the publications box on the homepage. Alternatively you may click here.
- Q: How do I ensure that I receive my monthly publications as well as e-mail communications?
A: It is important to keep your membership information current. This includes both your mailing address, email address, and demographics. Keeping this information current will ensure that you receive all of our publications as well as e-mail communications.
